Margie C. Blansett-White, 91
On Thursday, November 10, 2016, Margie entered into eternal peace. She was born on February 7, 1925 in Geary, Oklahoma, to Leonard and Leola Woodring. She resided in Oklahoma until she was eleven years old, when she relocated with her family to the central valley of California. In 1943 she married Johnny Blansett Sr. Just shortly after the marriage he was called away to join the war effort.
Margie spent the majority of her years in Sacramento CA, before relocating to Alamogordo, NM in 1989. She spent her last four and half years as a resident at the Aristocrat Assisted Living Center, a home that she loved and where she was extremely happy and content.
In her younger years she enjoyed gardening, sewing, crocheting, and knitting. She was an extremely active mother ensuring that her children had an ideal childhood.
After moving to Alamogordo she was active in genealogy at the history center, where she did volunteer work and taught others.
Margie was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Retired Senior Volunteer Program, and a lifetime member of the Royal Neighbors of America.
She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by three children, daughter Ladonna Kuderer and spouse Lee Sweet of Klamath Falls, Oregon, daughter Jennifer Brown and spouse Bruce Brown of Casa Grande, Arizona, and son Johnny Blansett Jr. and spouse Virginia Blansett of Alamogordo, NM; eleven grandchildren, twenty three great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. Margie is survived by her sister Julia Deatherage of Fresno, California.
Margie was proceeded in death by her first husband Johnny Blansett Sr. and second husband Clifford White, parents Leola and Leonard Woodring, grandson Bruce Christopher Brown and three siblings, sister Joyce Ervine, brothers Raymond and Herbert Woodring.
Pallbearers include Craig Blansett, Chris Blansett, Kyle Smith, Ty Smith, Dwayne Luoma, and Justin Lasiter. Honorary Pallbearer is Bruce Christopher Brown, Margie's late grandson.
Visitation will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, November 18, 2016 at the Alamogordo Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 pm on Friday, November 18, 2016 at the Alamogordo Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Kyle Bueermann officiating.
Interment will immediately follow at the Monte Vista Cemetery in Alamogordo, NM.
The White family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the funeral services.

I will miss her. I visited her a few times at the home and her home here in town. As a past step mother in law,she was the best. She was a Gentle, loving, soul. A true Lady. I called her a lil spit fire. I am saddened by her passing. Ms. Margie White you are missed. Forever Loved by many. My deepest sympathies to her entire family.God Bless and keep you. R. I. P.
