Terry Allen Rudolph, 67, of Blackfoot passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at Huntsman Cancer Institute in Salt Lake City, Utah from melanoma.
He was born April 20, 1949 in Blackfoot to Otto Hayes and Mary Katherine Rudolph. Terry was the second child of five boys and two girls, whom died early in life.
Terry attended school in Pocatello, and then attended ISU for two years and received his degree in Drafting and Design.
Terry then joined the United States Navy and was stationed on the U.S.S. Roark for four years and then served another sixteen years in the Navy reserve.
In November 1973, Terry met the love of his life, Carol Ra Pfaff. On June 5, 1974 they were married in Pocatello.
Through the years they brought three wonderful boys into this world, Christopher Allen, Wesley Hayes and Patrick Terry Rudolph.
Terry worked for JR Simplot's for 32 years, retiring in 2008 and after being a house wife for a few months - he went back to work part time until becoming ill in 2015.
Terry was a fighter and very courageous. He was a mentor to many people who knew him and especially to his grandchildren, which he had 9 all together, Clayton LeRay, Matthew Allen, Rhian Ashley, Alyson Marie, Joseph Sterling (deceased), Chole Rashell, Shayla LaNae, Brent Cameron and Danica Rashelle.
Terry enjoyed each and every one of them dearly. Family was very important to Terry and he enjoyed the times out at the property. The more family and friends the better.
Terry's first love was his wife, Carol and second was his children and grandchildren, third but not least, Airplanes. Wish he could have finished at least one of his planes, cause he sure wanted to fly.
He was a member of AOPA (Aircraft Owners Pilots Association), EAA (Experiment Aircraft Association) and NRA (National Rifle Association).
He enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, golfing and reading.
Terry was preceded in death by parents, one brother, Larry and two sisters, Bonnie and Ann. Father-in-law, Eugene Joseph Pfaff and one grandson, Joseph Sterling.
He leaves behind Carol, his loving wife, Carol of 42 years, three sons, Christopher (Stepheni), Wesley (Lisa) and Patrick (Lacy) Rudolph, mother-in-law, Daeline Pfaff, brothers, Hayes (Wendy), David (Cheryl) and Bob Rudolph, in laws Ann (Rod) Garringer, Sandra Binggeli, Jeannine Griggs, James (Linda) Pfaff, Catherine (Don) Bowlin, many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
