Brock, Kenneth 6/25/1938 - 10/14/2020 Ann Arbor Kenneth Reader Brock II (6-25-1938 – 10-14-2020) of Ann Arbor, MI passed away in his home on October 14, 2020 Kenneth graduated from high school in Long Beach, CA in 1956, where he met his wife of 61 years, Jeanette. He earned a Bachelor of Arts (1963), and master's in business administration (1970), from California State College, Long Beach. As an operations researcher, he initially worked in the aerospace industry in several cities around the country. In 1970, he began his career with the Ford Financial Credit Company, the financial arm of the Ford Motor Company, at the Dearborn world headquarters. Long before retiring in 2002, he had worked his way into the management structure and continued to mentor many of his staff after retirement. Kenneth was a family man who, together with his high school sweetheart, Jeanette, was active in his sons' and granddaughter's lives. As his sons were growing up, he was a scout master in the Boy Scouts of America, president of the local Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, member of First Presbyterian Church (at times an elder or deacon). He loved the outdoors, and ensured that his granddaughter, Emma, saw many of the country's national parks. He excelled in gardening and photography. More than 30 of his photos were displayed in the Ford World Headquarters over his 32 years there. He and Jeanette raised several cats and dogs. He is survived by his wife, Jeanette Tracy Brock; his son John Martin Brock of Pinckney; and his granddaughter, Emma Poppink Brock of New York City. He was preceded in death by his son, Kenneth Reader Brock III; his parents, Jeneva Greenrock Brock and Kenneth Reader Brock I, and his brother Fred Martin Brock. He leaves behind several extended family members in California and Texas. Interment service for family only (due to Covid-19) will be held October 29, 2020 at 3pm First Presbyterian Church Ann Arbor, MI His family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to the Michigan-NW Ohio Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the First Presbyterian Church of Ann Arbor, or the American Diabetes Association of Ann Arbor

Mr Brock,
He was a my Scout leader and taught me some lessons that I remember to this day, he managed my Eagle Scout project and I appreciated the time and effort he put into the role! RIP
