Marcia Federbush was always willing, in fact eager, to help anyone who was in need. For example, she helped entertain participants at a day care for elderly who were experiencing memory problems, when my mother-in-law was in charge of activities at that agency. Later, when my mother-in-law became very ill, Marcia brought her some very wonderful smelling skin creme. At the funeral for my mother-in-law, Marcia played the organ. Marcia's talents were enormous, both in music, writing verse and in her gift for giving and recognizing where there was need. Marcia, we will miss you so!

I never met Ms. Federbush, but her work has had an impact upon my life. I am a Title IX Coordinator. Her life of ethical service to humanity is an example to all of us. She had the courage to say what needed to be said and to take a stand when one was needed. She is a hero for humanity.

Marcia was a fierce defender of people's needs whether women's issues, children's rights, or injustices around the community and world. It was an honor to work with her on many causes and she will be deeply missed. Marilyn (Mrs. Donald) Koster

First heard Marcia's musical political wit at the Detroit Women's Coffee House, many, many years ago. Condolences,
