Nathan and I were good friends in graduate school and for many years beyond. We shared living quarters for a year in Princeton, and I visited him a number of times in Michigan. I was very much saddened to hear of his passing.
I enjoyed his sense of humor and will miss it.
My condolences to all who were close to him.

We were four close friends in graduate school, sharing basement offices, midnight studies and pizza, whiffle ball and other games, beer, and jokes. Nat, Bob Grissom, Michael Apter Smith, and I had a lot of fun together. We lost touch after that, much to my regret; but the memory is still vivid. I'm sad to hear that Nat is gone, but it's good to know that he had a fine family, a satisfying career, and an ever-present sense of humour.
My condolences to Linda and the whole family.

Dear Linda,
We are so sorry for your loss. It has been many years since our wonderful times at Triangle coop with you. We remember fondly the field trip to your house! We are thinking of you during this time and know you have many great memories with your husband. Thank you for all the memories you gave our family.
Fondly,
Leigh and Ed Washabaugh
