I knew Ruth when I was a PostDoc for Larry in 1966. I am sorry to hear that Ruth has passed.

I'll always remember the wonderful times our family had with the Jones' and how kind Ruth Jones always was to us. Very best wishes to Larry, Doug, Carol and Ellen. My thoughts are with you.

Ruth was always first into the swimming pool between lap swim and aerobics class. Cheerful, helpful, kind. I will miss her.

Ruth Jones was a special volunteer and generous supporter of the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum. She helped us with office and book-keeping tasks at the very beginning. She gave her collection of insects, rocks and birds' nests for its Discovery Room and classes. Her friendship, generosity and kindness will always be remembered and cherished. She brought water lily plants for our pond and gave us many rocks and Petosky stones recently. We shared many wonderful lunches with other 'Physics wives' together, her cheerful presence will be sorely missed by everyone. Thank You Ruth!!

Ed and I send our deep condolences to Larry and the family. She was a Wonderful Lady and Special Person!
