Allen S. Gorman
AGE: 74 • of Manchester
Allen S. Gorman, 74, of Manchester passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 23, 2017 at the Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune. Mr. Gorman was self-employed and retired many years ago. He enjoyed trips to Atlantic City and watching the ponies at Belmont Race Track in Hempstead, NY. He also loved playing golf and was an avid NY Football Giants fan.
Born and raised in Queens, NY, he lived in Montville and Livingston before moving to Manchester 10 years ago.
Surviving is his wife of 20 years, Maureen Gorman; son, Jay Gorman and his wife, Stephanie of Farmingville, NY; daughter, Ivy Levien and her husband, Jeffrey of NYC, NY; brother, Steven Gorman of New Jersey; and his grandchildren, Zachary, Francesca, Grayson, Maxwell and Alexa.
A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday from 10-11am at the O'Brien Funeral Home 2028 Hwy 35, Wall. A funeral service will follow at 11am in the funeral home. Interment will be private.
