Catherine C. Brown
AGE: 89 • Lincroft
Catherine C. Brown, 89, a long-time resident of Lincroft, passed away peacefully with her family at her side at Riverview Hospital Red Bank on February 27, 2017. She was a former communicant of St. Leo RC Church, Lincroft. Catherine was very adventurous. She loved roller coasters and zip lining but most of all loved to spend time with family and friends.
Catherine was predeceased by her husband Howard E. Brown in 1996, a sister Sally Murawski and a brother Walter Murawski. She is survived by a son Eugene "Gene" Brown of Eatontown; two daughters: Karen Pierce and her husband John of Sayreville and Virginia "Ginny" O'Connor and her husband Michael of Lincroft. She is also survived by eight grandchildren: Joshua, Julianna and her husband Michael, Chris, Jonathan, Jordan, Daniel, Janessa and Janina; and a great-grandson Michael.
Visitation will be held at the John E. Day Funeral Home, 85 Riverside Ave., Red Bank, NJ 07701 on Friday, March 3 from 4 - 8 p.m. A funeral home service will be conducted Saturday, March 4 at 10 a.m. followed by entombment at Fairview Cemetery, Middletown.
Memorial donations can be made in Catherine's name to the Salvation Army of Red Bank, 180 Newman Springs Rd., Red Bank, NJ 07701.
