Charles Hamilton
Whiting - Charles Hamilton of Whiting passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at Community Medical Center, Toms River. He was 87.
Born in Cedar Run, he lived in Bayville before moving to Whiting 7 years ago.
Prior to retiring in 1990, he worked as an electrical technician for the Lakehurst Naval Engineering Station, Lakehurst. Mr. Hamilton was also a Veteran of the Army National Guard.
He was predeceased by his wife Patricia in 2016 and by a granddaughter Louise Hurt.
Surviving are 2 daughters: Trina Anderson of Pt. Pleasant and Joyce Lewis and her husband Brian of Delaware. A son Michael Hamilton of North Carolina. 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Monday from 11 am- 12:30pm with a funeral service to begin at 12:30pm at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road, Toms River. Burial will follow at Good Luck Cemetery, Lanoka Harbor.
