Dolores C. Salzano (nee Dalessio) 72 of Toms River, NJ died on Saturday January 7, 2017 at Kimball Medical Center in Lakewood, NJ. The funeral will be from the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave. Union, NJ on Saturday at 9 AM.
The funeral mass will be in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Newark (Ironbound) at 10:30 am. Entombment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington. Visitation will be on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. For directions or to send condolences visit galantefh.com.
Born and raised in New Brunswick, NJ She graduated from St. Peter's Elementary and High School in New Brunswick and then lived in Newark, before moving to Toms River 15 years ago. She was a waitress for the Clinton Manor in Union, and D'Asti's Mountainside Inn for many years. Her hobbies included crafting, and decorating especially around her own home.
Dolores was married to her husband Robert C Salzano for 47 years, and is the mother of Robert C. Salzano Jr. and Lisa Riccardi-Cline and her husband Tom. She is the sister of Joyce H'Orr and the sister in law of Charles, Gerald, & Camille Salzano, as well as the aunt of Tara, Gina, and Jason, and the grandmother of Christopher, and Nicholas.

Dear Bobby and Little Bobby. I am so so sorry for your loss. I feel like I lost a big part of my family today. Dolores and my mom were always the best of friends.
