Paul Browning McLaughlin
- - Paul Browning McLaughlin passed away on Thursday, January 18, at the Southern Ocean Medical Center in Manahawkin, New Jersey.
Paul was born on November 23, 1964, in Neptune, New Jersey, son of Ruth and Frank McLaughlin.
Paul graduated from Lakeland Regional High School in Wanaque, New Jersey. He spent 5 years in the Navy as a Seabee in the Naval Construction Force, where he built naval bases in the Philippines and Spain. After his honorable discharge, Paul utilized his skills working in both carpentry and plumbing. Paul had an affinity for fishing, both freshwater and saltwater, and enjoyed fishing trips with his brothers Matt and Frank, his many friends, and his cousin Mark. He greatly enjoyed trips to Atlantic City with his friends, with blackjack being his usual game. He was also an avid reader, especially fantasy and science fiction. But Paul's greatest passion was for family, and especially enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews.
He is survived by his son Nicholas, his brothers Frank and Matthew, his sister Rachel, and his parents Ruth and Frank.
A service will be held on Saturday, January 27, at 11:00 am at Holy Innocents' Church, 410 South Atlantic Ave, Beach Haven, New Jersey. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Fisher House Foundation, Inc., 111 Rockville Pike, Suite 420, Rockville, Maryland, 20850.

Paul I loved you with all my heart. I have so many wonderful memories of us together. I know the first thing youll be doing in heaven. Rest In Peace. I love you. Nick, Ruth, Frank and the whole Mc Laughlin family I am so very sorry for your loss. You all meant so much to him.

Hadn't seen Paul in a long time, but was always a stand up guy. Nothing but great memories of a good friend who always made me smile and laugh.
