Not sure what to say?

Dear Gallo Family,

I am saddened to hear of Coach Gallo's passing. He certainly touched my life both in the classroom and on the athletic fields and gym at Dover HS. He would take me aside and talk to me about sports and what I was doing and took an interest in what I'd be doing after HS. Teachers and Coaches like Coach Gallo were an inspiration to us. I have very fond memories of him and wish you comfort as you remember how Coach Gallo touched all your lives. I know I will never forget him.

Sincerely,

Joe Rein Class of 1962 Dover HS

Mrs. Gallo, Scott, Debbie, Lisa, and Family
My heart breaks for you and for the loss of your beloved husband; and your dedicated, loving father,
Mr. Gallo always pushed for excellence in all those he came to know. When I look back at my life I can see how his imprint has shaped me and for that, I am ever grateful.
I don't think Scott ever mentioned why were all so humble. We couldn't run nor hide from Mr. Gallo because he had a pair of magical P.F flyers.
Scott could tell you that his father had blazing speed.
Mr. Gallo 's amazing speed was his continuous reminder he was always one step ahead of us.
Those of us lucky enough to have had Mr. Gallo in our lives could see the genuine love he had for us as individuals in our everyday interactions with him. I do my best to help others today, because he helped me. Mr. Gallo left a legacy behind that will continue to surpass his life. A legacy of hard work, mentorship and a desire to help people achieve excellence. I only wish to carry on is legacy as long as I can.
To the Gallo family, I am so sorry for your loss and I will continue to keep you and Mr. Gallo in my prayers in a special way.
Love you guys,
Robbie (aka B.J) Mine Hill

Cel and family. Sorry to hear of Frank's death. He was a great man in every sense of the word. Our years together on the beach in Beach Haven and the many gatherings with our "beach group" are treasured memories. He loved riding his bike with Angie each morning to have coffee at the dinner with the guys. Frank's love of you, Cel, and of his family was endearing. Frank was an athlete, a scholar and a gentleman. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time. Sincerely, Trish Stewart, Convent Station, NJ

Rest in peace. I didn't have him for a subject, but he was our homeroom teacher and was always kind (and tolerant when I was late). My condolences to his family, and thanks for being a dedicated teacher. From Joan (Borshard) DHS '63
