I lived at Barbara Lynn apts. from 1986-1993.
Mr & Mrs. Amoscato were very caring people.
At that time I had a wife that was dealing with cancer.I was invited several times for dinner on my return from Sloan-kettering.
They were always a pleasure to speak with as was Erma Fusco (Melso),the manager there who was Mr. Amoscato's cousin.
God Bless them all.

Barbara,I just want to send along my sympathy to you on your mom's passing. Your mom and dad were two of the most caring, compassionate people I've met in this life.
Barbara,we've not met (or perhaps we did, many years have passed) but I previously lived at Barbara-Lynn. I and my then wife lived in 2G.(1986-1994) Erma Melso Fusco was the Superintendent. I believe she and your dad were cousins.
Anyway,I had several meals with Erma & your parents. Your parents were very charming, gracious people.
My wife at that time was treated for cancer at MSKCC, NYC. Your parents & Erma seeing my exhaustion level from those long hospital trips, would invite me for dinner on several occasions.
I never forgot their kindness Barbara. I live now in Union County but am a frequent visitor to Sea Girt.
I pass the Barbara-Lynn Apts.often, bringing back good memories of nice people.
God Bless Geraldine & Anthony Amoscato.
