It has been my good fortune to become a friend of Jim. He was a great supporter of the jazz class I taught at SCAN. I will greatly miss his friendly smile and help. Jack Livingstone

Jim was an inspiration to me in continuing to live his Catholicism without complaint after his diagnosis. He was a dedicated daily communicant, frequent server at Mass and a weekly sacristan. We will all miss him at St. Jerome and I will miss him personally, but rest assured that he is now in the arms of his Lord and God.

Jim was my boss and mentor way back at CNA in 1970 and was responsible for bringing me to AIG in 1981 where I spent 31 years. He was a great person with a warm smile every time I ran into him over the years. He will never be forgotten. Rest in Peace Jim. Jeff Kestenbaum
