Heard of Coach Gavigan's passing, so sorry to hear that for the rest of the family. Coach Gavigan was one of my first coaches and I have many cherished memories from the New City Rams Pop Warner football days, and of course he was also the first person to suggest I consider attending Holy Cross. While we had not been in touch for some time, my friends still often think back to those days with such appreciation. With love to all in the Gavigan family - Rich Prestegaard

Jack was a great neighbor and friend who I will miss every time I look across the street. We enjoyed conversations on the beach and on his front porch, many of which started with my chasing "Teach" across the street looking for a treat from Jack. It will take a long time to train him that Jack and Keeper are no longer there. Jack will be dearly missed.

Jack was a lovely neighbor and a gentle man. If you need something he would give it to you and help in anyway that he could.
He loved the kids in the neighborhood and would often give them treats. He also love dogs .
Best of all he was a great listener. He will be so missed.
