Magna Mountford Leffler

AGE: 97 • Lakewood

Magna Mountford Leffler, age 97, of Lakewood, NJ passed away peacefully in her own bed, on her own terms, on February 17, 2017. The daughter of William J. and Miriam W. Mountford, she was born in Macon, Georgia on February 28, 1919. She married the love of her life, Edwin Leffler, Jr. in Atlanta, Georgia on November 11, 1939. He predeceased her, passing away in 1974. She is survived by her four children, Magna Leffler Dodge (David), E. Michael Leffler, Susan Leffler Gold (Bruce) and David Mountford Leffler. In addition, she is survived by four grandchildren, Edwin Michael, Jared David, Magna Susan, and Ethan Ross Leffler. She is survived by one great-grandchild, Charles Edwin Leffler and her beloved niece, Rebecca Mountford Horne. She is also survived by several other nieces, nephews and numerous grandnieces and grandnephews. She was predeceased by her brother, David W. Mountford.

Interment will take place in the spring. If you wish to make a contribution in her name, please select a charity of your choice or the Interfaith Hospitality Network of Ocean County, Inc. 407 Lexington Avenue, Toms River, NJ 08753.
