December 3, 2019 I'm so sorry to hear about this. Marcia was a wonderful person. I haven't known many people with so much wisdom, talent, compassion, and integrity. I still have vivid memories of the touching column you wrote after Josh's death. It was one of the most sensitive pieces I've ever read. December 2, 2019 Mrs. Holtzman was an awesome English teacher and a wonderful mentor. I've thought of her frequently over the 50 (!) years since I was in her class and remember calling her to thank her for her inspiration when I started my first academic appointment a couple of decades later.
