Mary B. (Masko) Peterson
AGE: 97 • Cliffwood Beach
Mary B. (Masko) Peterson, 97, of Cliffwood Beach, passed away, Wednesday, March 15, 2017, at Laurel Bay Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Keansburg. Born in Perth Amboy, she resided in Edison before settling in Cliffwood Beach/Aberdeen Township. She was a member of the Aberdeen Seniors; and a homemaker.
Mary was predeceased by her beloved husband, Harvey M. Peterson in 1985; two sons, Alan and Christian Peterson; her parents, Stephen Masko and Evelyn (Smith) DeMarco; her stepfather, Anthony DeMarco; and her brother, Steven Masko. She is survived by her loving children, Richard Peterson; Carl Peterson and his wife Vicky; and Janice Hausmann and her husband George; 13 cherished grandchildren; 19 precious great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by her family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 19, 2017, from 2-4 & 7-9PM, at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ 07735; and Monday, March 20, 2017, 8:45AM at the funeral home, with a 9:30AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph RC Church, Keyport.
