My condolences to you all. Mrs. Lynch, you were our daughter's kindergarten teacher. My husband and yours were involved in many school activities and we were always impressed at how well he 'ran' the Charles DeWolf School. My husband passed away on 12/22/16 and reading about Mr. Lynch (just learned about it today) brought back many happy memories of our times in Old Tappan. God Bless you all. Ellen Springsteen

I attended Charles DeWolfe School in Old Tappan until I graduated from the 8th Grade in 1968.

Mr. Lynch was the school's principal in my later years there and I always thought that he exemplified the 'best of the best' of what educators (and administrators) should be.

He was a great man who always put the kids first and was never too busy to say hello and be a presence in our lives.

Heartfelt condolences go out to his family and to all who knew, loved and respected him.

Rest In Peace Mr. Lynch. Rest with the knowledge that your life was a life well lived and one that made a tremendous difference in many young lives including mine.
