Condolences to the Farrugia family. Please find comfort through family and friends at this difficult time. Hosea 13:14
January 10, 2018
It is with great sadness we heard the news that our Uncle Sonny had passed away yesterday morning.
Phil, Sonny's brother, asked us to recall some cherished memories of our amazing holidays spent with our family in America.
Dad asked me to remind you of our visit to a toy shop, Two Guys I think, which was nothing like we had ever seen before, a child's paradise. We were looking for toys, for us, the children, when Uncle Sonny, Dad and Paul saw some toy guns on display. The next thing we know, Uncle Sonny and Dad are running up and down the aisles with toy guns, like over excited kids, shooting at each other with Paul quickly joining in the fun. It soon escalated to all of us (apart from Mum and Auntie Nancy, the grown ups) running and hiding jumping out at each other, causing mayhem and screeching with laughter giggling so hard it hurt. This was normal Farrugia brother behaviour, mischief was just what they got up to!!
We had so many fantastic times with you all on our vacations and we will always remember them with great fondness and are so grateful for everything we did and everywhere we were taken by Uncle Sonny. Thank you.
Uncle Sonny and Dad kept in touch via phone, mainly moaning about the state of the world and who was doing what wrong and what they would do differently!!!!!! Although we hadn't seen Uncle Sonny for many years, you have all always been in our thoughts and prays. We will be thinking of you and wish we could be there with you.
God bless and rest in peace Sonny x
