West Creek - HARTLEY, THOMAS E.B. JR., 88, of West Creek, passed away April 4, 2021 at home. He is survived by his wife Dorothy, of 69 years, sons Tom III and wife Virginia, of Tuckerton, N.J., and Bill, of Little Egg Harbor, N.J., daughter Peggy and husband Jerry, of Southaven, MS., and Theresa and partner Charlie, of Barnegat, N.J., nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by daughter Sandra and grandson Thomas IV. Thomas will be missed deeply by all those he loved. He was born January 15, 1933, and was a lifelong area resident. Thomas was the sole proprietor of Hartley Roofing & Siding, and was a member of Northeast Carpenter Union, retired. He has been a member of St. Theresa Parish, Little Egg Harbor, since 1938, serving as Charter Grand Knight of St. Theresa Knights of Columbus 14615, and was a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 14, 2021 from 10 AM - 12 PM, with a service at 12 PM, at WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 134 EAST MAIN ST., TUCKERTON, N.J., 08087.
