To The Bronikowski Family,

Please accept my deepest condolences during this very sad time. My thoughts and my prayers go out to Walter and his family.

Back in May of 1987, I worked with Walter in the Drafting and Design Department at, Brookdale Community College in, Lincroft until his retirement in the mid 90s.

When he taught his Drafting classes, I always used to peek through the glass door to watch him work. He made everything look so easy. One thing about him though, he very, very seldom called me by my first name which was, Don. It was always, "Fegan old boy" :)! I really got a kick of that. And it stayed that way until he left.

During one Fall semester, he was grading final exams for his DDT-111 class; it was between '89-'91. He calls me over and showed me one of his students final. Take a look at this, he said. What the student did was make a copy of just the title block and rubber cemented it over the original persons name. However, what he didn't plan on happening was the rubber cement giving away which was a clear a day. You could actually peel it off! It was the most stupidest thing that I ever saw. And of course Walter failed him. And rightfully so!

Around 1995, we had our CAD classes going and wanted the drafting students to get an idea of how to draw an easy object on the computer. So Walter asked me if I would do it for him....and I said yes. I was always there when he needed me. Want to know what his favorite saying was when it came to teach a CAD class? "I'll get my friend to help me". That friend was me! And I'll never forget him!

Sincerely,

Don Fegan
