My condolences go out to the Christie family. When I lived in Nevada County, I would frequent Sullivan's Saddlery in Marysville. Keith's art was displayed and sold there. I purchased my most prized work of art done by Mr. Christie there. I was lucky enough to go to one of the casino nights in Brownsvalley where we won a signed art piece called "The Gourmet" ( A hereford cow eating her hay) this picture hangs in my office and reminds me so much of what I love in life and of Mr. Christie. You will be missed, thank you for your art work.

I thoroughly enjoyed visiting with Mr. Christie. He did not want me to call him Mr. Christie but I explained my upbringing makes me do that. So I would relent and call him Mr. Keith! My cowgirl friends and I had great times with Mr. Keith when we would go to "Cow Camp" up in the Sierras. Mr. and Mrs. Keith came one time and stayed overnite. We had great talks and one of the days the Cowgirls had to check on the cows. Gone 2-3 hours. During that time Mr. Keith painted a picture of a high sierra meadow. It was beautiful. He will be missed. By the way, his steed Okie I have been taking care of for the last 3 years. He is doing great in his late 20's.
