Ada E. Armin
Sioux Falls - Ada Armin, Sioux Falls, SD, died May 26, 2018, at Sanford Ava's House in Sioux Falls. She was 100.
Ada was born in Hurley, SD, on July 17, 1917, to Harry and Ethel Elliott. After completing high school in Hurley and college in Sioux Falls, she married Dayton Armin on September 1, 1940. She spent her education career at Mark Twain and Harvey Dunn schools, and Augustana College.
Survivors include her son, Larry; daughter, Mary; son, Jeffrey and daughter-in-law, Jill; nephew, Robert Beneke; niece, Mary Beth (Beneke) Kellogg and her husband, Bob Kellogg; cousin, Elaine (Elliott) Jelenck; cousin, Donald Elliott and his wife, Doris; and several other nieces and nephews. Ada was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Ethel Elliott; brother, Jack; her husband of sixty-five years, Dayton; and her beloved twin sister, Ruth Beneke.
A memorial Service will be held 1:00pm, Saturday, June 23, 2018, at the Halladay-Peterson Chapel of Dow Rummel Village, 1310 W. Madison Street, Sioux Falls, SD. The family will be present for visitation from 5:00 to 7:00 Friday evening, June 22, at Miller Funeral Home, 507 S. Main Avenue.
Memorials may be directed to a charity of the sender's choice.

What a sad loss to so many that loved Ada. She was such a caring and loving friend to have. We feel so very lucky to have her in our life. We are glad we were able to visit her shortly before her death to share a hug and a kiss. Our hearts go out to Jeff, Larry and Mary. May God Bless you all. We know that God has a special place for Ada in Heaven.

Ada was my best friend's Mom, and a second Mom to me. I will remember so many wonderful times I had at the Armin home, with Ada always facilitating the fun and games! A wonderful lady indeed! My sympathy to Mary, Larry and Jeff.
