Goldie was always a very joyful lady. She was my godmother also. When ever I was in South Dakota always stopped to see her. Even uncovered her AC with my brother Patrick. She had just gotten back from Texas. Last time I was there She was in North Carolina. Always thought the world of her.

Our sincere sympathy to Goldie's family. Goldie & myself got to be good friends throughout the last several years. I always liked to see her when she still came over to Canistota for Sports Day. We could have some great visits. She was a classy lady, for sure. So with sadness, Jim and me extend our thoughts & prayers to each and every one of you.

What a loss of a wonderful woman who bridged generations sharing her valuable life long experiences. Goldie had such a positive attitude toward life that influenced any person around her.
She loved western movies and western music---seeing "Gunsmoke " or hearing Conway Twitty will make me smile remembering those songs playing during our frequent road trips. I am honored to call her my friend.
