I am saddened to hear of Jerry's passing. We went to school together and he was my best man in my wedding. We were always planning a get together again for fishing but as life always does, it interferes with those plans and we ran out of time. We hunted, partied, and always shared a great laugh together growing up. Plus got into a lot of trouble together and laughed about it. I will always miss those late night calls to talk for hours. (Well! Maybe not those late ones after midnight) LOL. I know you're up there with a cold one (beer) holding a fishing rod giving someone the business on the day and about the big fish that got away. We shall always miss you. Till we get together to go fishing again and maybe just get into a little trouble again as we always did having fun together. Your friend forever!

Me and Jerry at Red Rocks in 2006 when he came to visit after I left Sioux Falls. We saw Gov't Mule and Allman Brothers on back to back days. He really loved his garden and even brought me some tomatoes he had freshly picked, which were promptly eaten by my yellow Labrador Buddy! Buddy has since passed on as well and I'd like to think that Jerry is still feeding him tomatoes in the next life.

Jerry in the white trans am rocking and rolling with the loud tunes. He stood up for us at our wedding and after moving came back often for hunting fishing and celebrations always a smile and positive outlook spoke often on phone & still teased him about not earning any grey hairs! He brought us much joy... Speechless and Saddened sending our deepest sympathy to his family
