My deepest sympathies to Leo's wife, children and siblings. I have many fond memories of Leo from when we were neighbors in the 60's, playing cards, hunting, and also doing dumb kid stuff. Leo came to visit my dad on his 90th birthday. I hadn't seen him in about 40 years. I walked in and dad said "Do you know who this is"? It took me about 2 seconds to recognize his smile and say "LEO!" We had a nice visit reminiscing then and also when he came to pay his respects when my dad passed a few months later. RIP big guy.

There are no words to express the sadness and sorrow I feel for his wife and family. Leo shared his garden with me many times. Cindy would bring fresh vegetables and my favorite, celanto, to work and the garden items were to be shared with anyone that wanted them. It was a symbol of his character and his kindness. I so wish I could be there with my friend Cindy, but know I am with you and your family in spirit. Char Smith, McKinney, Texas

I remember playing cards and learning pinochle with Leo.
He had patience with me and explained what I did wrong and how to correct it. He was a good teacher and great brother in law. I will miss him.
