Cassie, Jason and Chandler,
We are so sorry to hear about the passing of your Dad/Grandpa and the heartbreak you are feeling. Your dad and I only met a couple times briefly so I did not have the chance to know him well. However, my dad, Jerry Nelson, and your dad were friends. My dad talked about him fondly from time to time and he seemed like a terrific Dad and Grandpa. We hope you find some comfort knowing that Chandler now has an amazing angel by her side as she grows up.
Thinking of you,

To Randy's family,
Your father and I were dear friends for many years, including when you were teenagers. He so loved his kids and tried to be the best dad he could be. As the years passed, his granddaughter became the apple of his eye. Each time we would met to talk and/or grab a bite to eat I got to see her picture and watch your dad's eyes glisten as he told me the latest thing she did. I know your dad will live on in all your hearts and he is now dancing in heaven. In the days ahead if you need to talk with him, just stop, go to a quiet place and know he is listening. God Bless You All, Dana
