When I think of Scott, I think of two words: kindness and humor. He was a wonderful guy. No matter how busy he was, he always greeted people with a warm smile and was interested in them and their family. God bless.

Scott will be dearly missed by all of us .He was an inspiration and gave hope to many people. It was Scott's message that I remembered the most. Every month he helped so many people understand their demons. We were truly blessed to have him visit us every month. God bless you, Scott. You helped save so many of us.

Dear Marian, Pat and families,

I knew Scott as a kid when the family first moved to Trent. I was pleased to read that a grandchild is named Trent.
Our families spent a lot of time together. He was a character. He helped with our girl's softball team--being 3 years older I thought he and Ricky were too young to know anything but they were dedicated to their jobs.

The only encounter I had with him as a man was at my Dad's prayer service in 2004. He had worked with Dad at the Cargill Elevator--I believe Scott's job was to spread fertilizer. He told, in a sincere and respectful manner of how he messed up on an order. When he went to Dad to tell him what he'd done, Dad told him he'd make it right, not to worry. Over the years I have thought a lot about the gift Scott gave in sharing that memory in such a loving and tender way.
Sincere sympathy to all of you. From what I have read, he was an awesome man.
Because of health reasons, I won't be able to attend the prayer service or funeral. I certainly wish I could be with you.
