We have lived in the Sioux Falls area since 1996. On several occasions over the years I have said to my husband that whoever is at the helm of planning Sioux Falls growth and development has done a great job; their wise influence has blessed Sioux Falls greatly. So grateful for Stephen's contribution to the Sioux Falls Community. Praying for God's peace and comfort for Stephen's family and friends. Ted and Karla Walnofer

Steve was an Army "Brat," and attended Ft. Knox High School his junior year. He was on the baseball and football teams. He was President of our teen club, TAHO. He was a kind, fun and caring person as a teenager, and he never changed. He could have done anything he wanted to professionally and personally, because he cared about people and worked hard for others as well as himself. He will be missed by everyone that knew him.

Steve always had a smile and welcoming nature. He will be missed for this and his many contributions to the city of Sioux Falls.
