Joe Pickens is sad to hear of the death of his old friend and fellow football referee, Ted. Joe lives in Houston, Texas now. He is thinking about Ted's family and wishes he could have attended the funeral service.

I am so sorry to read this your mom and dad were so much a part of ou lives at the home for several years.. I will never forget either Praying u find peace in this sad time.

I knew Ted from volunteering at the VA Medical Center together.I wish to tell his remaining family that he was a fine person and a joy to know. He always had a good attitude and I'am happy to have known him. I hope he's resting in peace.

Sorry, to hear of the death of your brother, Ted. As you know we shared many bus rides to school. Maybelle said we were "shirt tail' cousins and we all made some good memories together.
