I am so sorry to hear about Ron's passing. He was my Mom's cousin, Patricia Ellingson Schlaikjer. The last time I saw him was when he was kind of enough to give me some photos and newspaper clippings before they moved in 2017. I am thankful for the family reunions and getting to spend time with Ron and Noreen. I recently lost my Mom on Dec. 17th. I'm sure they're having great conversations in Heaven. Praying for comfort and peace for you all.

Sorry to read about Ron’s passing. His grandma, Clara, was a sister to my mother,Edna Reimers Colberg. My brother, Dayle Colberg, talked about Ronnie (as he called him as kids). They used to get together at the Stoefen farm near Dell Rapids years ago. Dayle passed away October 28 2020. My sympathy to Sandy and Veronica, too.

Ron and I had many discussions at coffee -and we even agreed some of time... Ron's memory is one of a loving man, with a lot of patience.

Even though many miles separated us, Ron and I spoke often. It goes without say, he was one of the finest men I have ever known. I knew I could always turn to him in good times and in bad. I loved his family, Noreen, Mark, Lauri, and Jess, as I loved him and cherish all the wonderful times we spent together. He was my brother, my friend, my confidant and will miss him profoundly.
