Kenny Sheets

John Kenneth "Kenny" Sheets, age 64, of Laurel Springs, passed away Saturday, August 30, 2025, at Glenbridge Nursing & Rehab Center. He was born June 16, 1961, in Ashe County to Kenneth and Betty Eldreth Sheets. Kenny loved anything to do with cars, especially racing, and animals. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Cindy Kay Sheets; and half-brother, Gary Trivette.

Kenny is survived by his sister, Cathy Miller of Ferguson; brother, Eddie Sheets of West Jefferson; several nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews; one great great nephew; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Memorial service was held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Miller Funeral Chapel and Rev. Leon Miller officiated. The family received friends at Miller Funeral Service from 2:00 until 3:00 on Saturday, prior to the service. The family has requested no flowers, memorials may be made to Medi-Home Hospice, 100B Shadowline Drive, Boone, NC 28607. Miller Funeral Service is assisting the family with arrangements.
