To Lyn, David and family, our most sincere condolences from the children of Anne Whitesides Alexander. We loved your mother, and enjoyed time spent with all of your family. Mama was so proud to call your mother her friend. In a time when grief cannot be shared, we are sending our love and prayers for your comfort. Your mother was courageous and such a great role model. Her tireless advocacy for those with speech disorders was so admirable. Please know that we are grieving with you. To The Family Of Annie Glenn
Thank You Both For letting Me Care for Your Mother at Johanna Shores, She was One Beautiful Lady, Very Kind, Her Laughter was one of a kind.... little , but short to the point, made you laugh when you heard her laugh. At the table, She kept on asking me, where John was, and then she told me, he probably went to the store again,.... I was So Sad when She Passed away, I remember Her 100th Birthday Party, You put make up on her, and curled Her Hair, She looked just like a Princess waiting for Her Prince to show up, ...., and All Those Balloons... I took care of her the day she died....
I Will never forget Her

Dear Lyn, David, and All Family,
We are saddened to learn that your dear mother, Annie Glenn, has passed away and we send heartfelt condolences to you. She will surely be missed, and never forgotten. She was amazing and inspirational.

We appreciate her decades of diligence, courage, and sacrifice helping others with a stutter and other communicative disorders. Her passion for helping others has endeared many people to her, even people who never met her personally. Ms. Annie Glenn has inspired many people, including me, and surely her legacy will continue. Because Ms. Glenn had the courage and strength to speak out about her struggles with communicative disorders, she has empowered and inspired many people. She did not let the everyday limitations imposed by stuttering stop her or silent her voice. She overcame it, and devoted herself to helping other stutterers and people with disabilities. Thank you, Annie Glenn, for being an imperative advocate and model for those of us with speech and communicative disorders. Thank you for lifting us up and encouraging us when we felt down or humiliated.

May your cherished good memories provide some comfort for you. God is close to the brokenhearted and He will comfort you. He will give you the strength to cope. May prayers strengthen you and cherished memories comfort you, and may prayers and Gods loyal love always comfort and sustain you. May he comfort your broken hearts. ~Psalm 23

Annie inspired us Ohioans. We so greatly admired her for campaigning and giving speeches for John's election even though she struggled with a stammer. I was just a child then but knew she was very, very special and brave.

I never met Annie but she changed my life. Like her, I was a severe stutterer. Thanks to her, I learned about the Fluency Shaping Program at Hollins College. It is because of her courage and perseverence that I have been fluent for nearly 50 years. Her influence will continue. Hers is a legacy of hope and transformation.
