Carolyn was my friend and colleague at HIES. (I'm also a music teacher). I'm sorry to have lost touch with her. We talked a lot, comparing notes about singing in church choir, teaching music, handbells, and other random things. We collaborated a lot on programs and she would even cover my classes if I had to be out.
I was shocked to learn of her short illness and death. I offer my prayers for her family and hope they find comfort in knowing that she has gone Home.

Carolyn was a terrific asset to our Fine Arts Department when we worked together at Holy Innocents' School for several years. She had a calm and patient way about her and such a sweetness of manner. Carolyn was so talented and her hand bells performances with students were so beautiful. My thoughts are with her family.

Carolyn, or "Aunt Carolyn" as I called her, was part of my life since I was born. She along with "Uncle Jim" were friends of my mother going all the way back to my mom's days of teaching. Our families shared so many memories. Whether it be vacations, parties, or just going out to eat, we always had a wonderful time. "Aunt Carolyn" was nothing but wonderful, and always so sweet and thoughtful. I am so appreciative of the time we all had together. Heaven has certainly gained another angel.
