I just met Ed like 2months ago when I found out he stayed in my complex and from the very first time I was in his presence I knew he was an outstanding person.. he was very polite and had a caring voice. I could tell he loved his gf very much and spoke highly of women in general. Its hard to see him go over such a ridiculous situation/argument, but to be absent from the body is to me present with the Lord.. God Bless the family and all who grieve!

Sending my concerns and prayers to the entire family of this "young man". To the mother, I know your pain. This is the hardest thing we could ever do--bury our child. Hoping that one day a little peace will be in your hearts, but the void is going to always be there. I hope some justice will be done and you all will have a little comfort from that. Once again, my prayers are with you all. This is so close to home too, I'm from Thomasville. God bless you all.

As an Auburn grad and the mother of an Auburn grad, Ed's tragic death is something I never imagined happening in a place so dear to my heart. A member of the Auburn Family has left us way to soon, but I know that Ed has gone Home. I pray for forgiveness and healing for all that loved him. Ed will always live in the hearts of the Auburn Family.

God's word promises us a peace that passes all understanding. To me, that promise means that in the face of the most tragic news that the world can imagine, God will give your spirit peace. He will comfort you and give you the hope that is found in Jesus Christ.
This is my prayer for you. I pray that God will pour out a spirit of peace on you and will give you a hope that the world can't understand.
God bless you.

My eyes filled up with tears as I heard the news
I find myself wishing that it wasn't real
Every time I think about it, pain is all I can feel
Tears fall from my eyes, I can barely see
But my heart tells me that he'll always be with me
I'm glad he feels no pain now-he lives in a perfect land
Together in that perfect place above,
Filled with caring, sharing and love
But until that day comes- I will wipe my tears away.
Goodbyes are often hard to say,
they hurt so very much.
Though you're not gone.
You still remain,
in the minds, hearts, and lives you've
touched.
With deepest sympathy,
