CAMERON (Frink), Lola E. "Claudia" "Claudia" (Lola E.) Frink Cameron, (93 1/2 years old), of Marietta passed away unexpectedly on November 19, 2017. She is survived by her three children, Virginia (a.k.a., Ginger) Cameron James of Marietta, Susan Cameron Polesnak (Mike) of Charlotte, NC, and John L. Cameron, Jr. (Yvonne) of Kennesaw; three grandchildren, Erin James (Ulises) of Panama City, FL, John L. Cameron, III (Danielle) of Dallas, GA, and Breanna Cameron of Kennesaw; great grandson, Brock Cameron; great granddaughter, Callie Cameron; cousin, Virginia McDuffie Ariail of Columbia, SC; and many relatives and dear friends. Claudia was predeceased by her beloved husband and best friend of 61 years, John Leonard Cameron, Sr.; parents, Clarence and Lola (Welty) Frink; and grandparents, W.A. and Virginia Blanche Frink. She was a former member of Unitarian and Universalist Church of Marietta and a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution (Andrew Houser Chapter). Claudia was born in Mullins, SC on May 3, 1924. She graduated from Mullins High School and briefly attended Flora Macdonald College. She and John married in 1944 and spent the next several years traveling around the country as John served his World War II Army commitment at Officers Candidate School in Pennsylvania, graduated college at Arizona State University, and advanced his career as an analytical chemist. His work and school took them from South Carolina to California, Utah, Arizona, Texas, New Mexico and Florida before moving to Marietta for his job at Lockheed-GA. Her husband was also a pharmacist and owner of Cameron's Pharmacy in Marietta. Claudia was a very loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother, whose life centered on her family. She was active in several charities and PTA as her children were growing up. Claudia enjoyed many family vacations to the beach and around the country and Canada, and in later years, many special trips (Disney World!) and activities with her children and their families. In her children's eyes, she was the greatest mom in the world! At Claudia's request, there will be no funeral services. Burial will be at Kennesaw Memorial Park, Marietta, GA. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make contributions to a charity of their choice, in Claudia's memory. www.mayeswarddobbins.com 770-428-1511
