Mr. Brian Keith Johnson, of Mossy Oak Circle, entered into rest February 16, 2018 at University Hospital. Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at Greater Young Zion Baptist Church 405 Sandbar Ferry Road, Augusta with the Rev. William B. Blount officiating. Interment will be in Mealing Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Johnson was a member of Greater Young Zion Baptist Church where he served on the Ushers Ministry. He was a 1988 graduate of North Augusta High School and a Veteran of the United States Navy .
Survivors include his wife, Crissy Wilson Johnson; his children, Aniya Johnson, Shanyah Brown and Jaikeria Goodin; his father, Linzie (Patricia) Johnson; his mother, the Rev. Lucile Baskett Dyson; eight brothers, Linzie B. Johnson, Sr., Clayton (Ashley) Dyson, Terrence (Jessica) D'Antignac, Alphonso (Jewel)Dyson, Alonzo (Jackie) Dyson, Jimmie (Laverne) Dyson, Jr.,Keith Bellamy and Reginald Boyd; six sisters,Monica (Terrance) Stroman, Angela Thomas, Alice (Jerome) Isaiah,, Leslie (Raymond) Manigault, Martha Johnson and Khristen Johnson; mother-in-law, Alisha Wilson; a host of other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Friends may visit the residence.
