Wally epitomized the phrase " a gentleman and a scholar". He became a friend when we met at New Rochelle Rotary over 40 years ago, and his good humor and sharp wit will be missed. Rest in peace my friend, for you have led an exemplary life both professionally and in your many philanthropic endeavors.

Our sincere condolences to the Bobrow family. Walter was a wonderful man and a great philanthropist in New Rochelle for many years. He was an intellectual giant but in my mind he will be remembered for his kindness. We started out as neighbors when I was very young and I had the honor to serve with Walter on the Board of the Boys and Girls Club of New Rochelle. May he rest in peace. To the Bobrow Family: My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there's a hope for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring.
