Thomas Jefferson "TJ" Cupstid
North Augusta, SC—Private Graveside Services for Mr. Thomas Jefferson "TJ" Cupstid, 89, who entered into rest January 14, 2021 will be conducted Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock with Veterans Honors. The Rev. Dr. Allen M. Thompson and Rev. Masaki Chiba officiating. The service will be streamed live on the Posey Funeral Directors Facebook page.
Mr. Cupstid was a native of Swansea, SC having made North Augusta his home for the past 65 years. He served in the US Army during the Korean War and retired from the Savannah River Site. Mr. Cupstid was a longtime member of Fairview Presbyterian Church and was very active in the community. He was preceded in death by his wife, Fay Towne Cupstid.
Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Cari and Kenny Dukes and Salli Cupstid, all of North Augusta, SC; a sister, Sylvia Nicholson, W. Columbia, SC; a host of loving family and friends.
