Born on December 21, 1929 to Fred and Celia Tensfeld in Lancaster, passed away on August 17, 2018.
After growing up on a chicken ranch on the east side of town, she graduated from A.V. High School and Antelope Valley College. Caroline served in the Navy from 1951 until 1953 where she met her husband Tom Craft. They traveled to 21 duty stations and were married for 59 years. She raised a family making every stop along the way a home. Caroline was very artistic and enjoyed many hobbies like china painting, tole painting, sewing and wood carving. She was very active in Boy and Girl Scouts and gardening.
Caroline is survived by her five children. Michael (Ruth) Craft, Becky (Tom) Attwood, Cheryl Craft, Martin (Chris Adair) Craft and Kiley (Helen) Craft. She was very proud of her five grandchildren: Joni (Adam), Celia, Cliff (Jenny), Jason (Dee) and Dori.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, September 22, at the Palmdale United Methodist Church.
