91, of Lancaster, Calif., passed away on January 26, 2018, at Oasis Community and Senior Living. She was born April 24, 1926, in Lahaina, Hawaii. In November 1954, she married Ralph E. Shackett and moved to the Antelope Valley. Chooko was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker. She was a Nursery School Teacher for 20 years. She is survived by her two children, Ann Francis Kent and Charles Joseph Shackett; and ten grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph. Family and friends will gather for a Graveside Service at 11 amon Friday, February 2 at Joshua Memorial Park. Condolences may be sent to the family at Mumaw Funeral Home.
