Bruce and I were classmates at Washington high graduating in 64 We played baseball together and that is how he got the nickname chopper. He was very loquacious and had good things to say about everybody.

Bruce has been a best friend since 1988, the year I moved to Arizona. He had the gift of gab and knew great places to patronize and dine no matter where we were. Needless to say we had our share of good times. Bruce was strong willed and adapted to some tough life changes which I will always admire him for. It was hard seeing him go but am thankful to know he is at peace in a better place. He was so proud of his daughters, Chris and Jen, and equally of his grandsons, Kyle and Wyatt. Thanks Bruce and like we always said after our ritual high arm cross check, "Later".

Bruce was one of the guys that we all admired and respected at Washington High School. May he rest in peace. May his family be blessed with comfort.

Bruce can be known as one of the good guys in high school. Our prayers are with his family and he will always be in our thoughts.
