Debbie and I grew up in the same neighborhood, went to Griffith Grade School and East High together and played in the band. Her passing makes me sad. I remember her fondly.

I went to East High with Debbie. Although I didn't know her well, personally, I'll always remember her with a bright smile and a happy demeanor. My prayers are with her family and friends.

Debbie--you were the very best friend. I will miss our chats, our laughs, our growing old together but I know we will meet again. Because I knew you-I have been forever changed for good." (Stephen Schwartz)

This was the poem read at my mother's service. It gives me comfort now too.

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.

Debbie was always a sweet person. We were in band together and she was so much fun. Please accept my deepest condolences and know that you will be with her again.
