Ed hired me for my first job at Madison Pay'n Takit, a neighborhood grocery store that used to be on the corner of 16th St. & Missouri in Phoenix. My friendship with Ed began there in 1975, and continued for 42 Years. Ed was a wonderful friend and mentor, a very humble and giving guy who loved to make others happy. We shared many interests, and Ed was so much fun to hang out with. After losing touch with each other for a few years, I am so glad that we reconnected a couple of years ago. I will always treasure my old memories of Ed, as well as the more recent ones of sharing margaritas, Mexican food, and great conversation at Ed and Caroline's favorite restaurant, Vios. Thanks Ed.

Ed was my neighbor. He always had a smile on his face and would do anything to help someone. I especially remember our "joint" garage sales. He was so friendly with all my helpers and we had a great time. He will be missed.
