I first met "Hugger" in Omaha in 1952: a Coach, a Mentor and in the last 20+ years a good Friend--I'll miss our lunches. At last you are with Shirley.

I did not know Coach at Alhambra High. I was privileged to meet him through inviting teachers to attend our class reunions. What a nice man he was. It was so much fun to watch him greet his former players and chat with all of us during those special times. Even though we graduated way back in 1965, he of course remembered many of the guys from then and we enjoyed hearing his stories. He did attend three or four reunions and we were always so happy to see him.
