Dear Pam,

I was saddened to read of Jim's passing. I still can see him as a young man at Camelback or ASU as one of Don Baker's favorite players. I remember he spoke a few words at Don's memorial in the end zone at ASU; he was very nervous, but who wouldn't be in front of such a large crowd.

You two came to my house with all of Don's family and old friends. You told me about Dr. Cilley who was my doctor and who delivered my two grandsons.

I wish you the best and that this finds you in good health and that time will lessen the hurt you must feel.

Our paths crossed over the last 70 years, principally on reservations where our parents were teachers and administrators. His parents and mine had adjoining properties in Munds Park for years. His brother and I split an apartment on N. Central for a time as well.
He was a gentleman and the world is a lesser place for his passing.

Pam,
We were sorry to read of Jim's passing. It says that his health had been failing, so we hope that he was able to stay comfortable in his last days.
