Just learned of Jim,s passing, was a pleasure to see him at our last reunion.
He will be missed by our class of 1959.

I am very sorry for your loss. I found Jim on Ancestry.com-family genealogy was another hobby of his. He was a lucky find for me as he was the only link I had to the Venoy Family. Together we went on the hunt for Nannie Hazlett, his grandmother. I enjoyed sharing stories my father had of the Venoy and Maag cousins, with whom he grew up with in Barberton and Akron in the 1930's and 40's. Jim was a good man and I know he loved his family very much. So happy to have found this man, my cousin.

My heart felt condolences to Diane and the entire family. Jim and I worked the old 98R squad way back when. We also rode Wagon92 in the downtown area of Phoenix. Years later we were able to work together again while assigned to the Professional Standards Bureau.

We also played softball together in church sponsored summer leagues. Had a lot of fun times. Jim was a great guy to work with and he will be sorely missed.

May he rest in peace.....

Uncles didn't come better than my Uncle Jim Thomas. He was a big part of my childhood and was more a "big brother" to my brothers and me.
We were always thrilled when he came back to Ohio for a visit.
To Diane, Gail, Michelle, and Tammy; know your Ohio cousins are with you In spirit.
We already miss Uncle Jim and will love him forever
