Jane Ann Ennis

Phoenix - Jane Ann Ennis passed away on December 28, 2020 at the age of 85. Jane was born to Louise and Bill Covert in Niagara Falls on December 26, 1935. She married her high school sweetheart, David Combe, and the couple had 3 children, Jim (Robin) Combe, Michael (Cindy) Combe and Lori (Mark) Smith. The family relocated to Tempe Arizona in 1968. After many years as a housewife, and with the kids in high school, Jane went back to school and completed her nursing degree at the age of 40. She loved working as a nurse for many years. After retirement Jane traveled the country in her motor home and enjoyed visiting her many friends on the road. Besides traveling, Jane stayed active running 4 miles a day until her mid 70's along with teaching line dancing (with a walker!) into her 80's.

Jane is preceded in death by her parents, husbands David Combe, James Ennis and Jerry Hiskey. She is survived by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and many friends at Desert Shadows.

You will be greatly missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing you, but there is comfort knowing that you are line dancing in heaven!
