To the Carnicelli Family: My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there's a hope for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring.

May the God of all comfort strengthen the family during this time of deep sorrow. Those who pass on, God keeps in his memory because they are precious in his eyes. My sincerest condolences. (Psalms 116:15)

I was a classmate of Joe at Brooklyn Prep and re conected with him at several of the reunions. Same old Joe. Quiet but friendly. One thinks of the adage -Sttll waters run deep. Joe was well liked at the prep and my life was richer for knowing him. We became friends on Facebook and I enjoyed seeing pictures of him his fanily. It was clear that he was proud of his grandkids and a devoted family man. He was kind enough to get my son Cliff tickets to boxing matches in Providence where my son was a student at Brown. I spoke to him a few weeks ago over. I could sense something was amiss but did not pry. he will be missed by all his surviving friends of the Prep. He led an interesting and full life. Sad to see you go Joe. rest in peace knowing that you were liked by yourvgs36 schoolmates and friends and loved by your family. God Bless.

Joe was my classmate at The Prep and was a friend to everyone. Outgoing, great sense of humor and even then had a sense for sports as manager of several of our sports teams.
I saw Joe at our 50th reunion and he recognized me and I had a little trouble because I remembered his nice crop of hair but heck, it was 50 years.
For sure Joe is now with his folks and with the many members of our class who have gone before him.
My condolences to his family and friends. Know that the men of The Prep will keep you in our prayers. Joe does not need them anymore.
